City of Wilson’s Greenlight Brings You “Fiber to the Home”

According to the New York Times on April 2, 2014:  For the Tech-Savvy With a Need for Speed, a Limited Choice of Towns With Fiber.

“While there are few “fiber to the home” locations, and they are not exactly metropolitan, tech-savvy entrepreneurs and individuals are flocking to them. They are pulling up stakes and moving to places like Lafayette, La.; Chattanooga, Tenn.; Wilson, N.C.; and Mount Vernon, Wash.”

Maybe this is why entrepreneurs and artists are calling Historic Downtown Wilson Home.

The United States is 14th globally when it comes to offering fiber connectivity. Municipalities that offer it are often small or rural.
